‘Dedicated to Dedications’ is an alternative indie band from the south coast of England driven by cello, violin and piano instead of the typical guitar effects and distortion with a diverse range of material and a melancholy yet powerful live set.

Led by vocalist Suzanne Alderton and the song writing of Richard Anthony Dunford with additional lyric collaborations from an ultra talented mini army of lyricists including ILIR, Bella Rose, Liam Golder and Ronnie Wordwright. Influences include Biffy Clyro, trail of dead, Trespassers William and Sigur ros. A nice way to describe the sound would be an alternative rock band making love to a string quartet.

Dedicated to Dedications recorded their first official demo at Empora studios in Burgess Hill in June 2010 using session musicians. In August of that year the track ‘Crash or Burn’ was digitally released via Swedish Independent label Turmic records and is now available to download from Itunes, Amazon and Napster. The band also has a music video for the song which was based on Filmmaker David Schofield’s short film ‘The last train’. The band have since had a track featured on US label Deep elm records compilation album ‘Emo Diaries 12’ . A three track E.P released through German label ‘Choo Choo Seven’ and a 4 Track EP released via Kerzam which is now available to download from amazon, itunes and spotify.

Dedicated to Dedications will be recording an album and playing more live shows in 2011.
